Open House

It's Thursday night.  Woo hoo!  Tonight we had Ariel's back to school night.  We sat at those tiny little desks.  Too funny.  She has the same teacher Aden did in 2nd grade.  She's with her friend's Mara and Mika.  We have a quiet weekend coming up.  For once.  

Back to last week.  We met some of the twins friends at Altitude.  

 The boys were very daring.  

 Ariel was a good helper.

 And a good climber.

 So sweet.

 A little snack after.  

 Then they passed out!  

 We had an open house at the elementary school.  

 It was good to be back!

 Our friend Amber is a new teacher there.  Ariel is so excited.  

 We ran into so many people.  

 Aden just wanted to play outside with his friends.  Have a great weekend!

Exercising With Other Bubbie

It's Wednesday night.  We had Aden's back to school night tonight.  Wow.  It's a lot being a big 6th grader.  So much responsibility.  They really want to get them ready for middle school.  They don't even have desks for their stuff.  They have mock lockers and will go to them between subjects.  Aden's teacher graduated with my cousin Larry.  They were buddies.  Small world.  

Ariel really wanted to take a guitar lesson but she's just too little.  Right back to the piano. 

Aden went to Dylan's birthday party at Sports Zone.  

He was excited to see his friends he hadn't seen all summer.  

We went to visit my grandmother.  

She was excited to see us.  

We all exercised together.  

Pure joy!

It's Tuesday night, the first day of school, which I think went pretty well for everyone!  We walked up with the older two this morning.  It's nice they allow that.  We saw lots of familiar parents and kids.  It was also the first day after the redistricting so there were many new faces too.  I will give a full report when I post the pictures next week.  

Back to last week.  We had full week with no camp, school or the shore.  Amy did most of the work while I went to work.  Our neighbor Judy came over and gave Ariel a pink guitar!

 I'm really trying to have a musical family.  

 Ariel started cheerleading again!  We brought the boys to practice so they could play on the fun playground.  

 It is a big group of girls.  

 Noah ran off with these kids.  I had to chase him down.  

 Doesn't look comfortable.  

 Ariel brought salt water taffy from Ocean City to give out to the girls.  

 Someone had fun picking up school supplies.
