Camp!

It's Wednesday night and the sky is rumbling.  Here is Aden working on his letter to his counselor Noel. 

 It's a kid's letter so we didn't correct his spelling but he did really well.

 He made a picture also.  Hampy is the owl mascot of Southampton Day Camp.  

 Here we go!  First day.  Aden's driver picked up 4 kids on the street along with her 2 kids.  As you might remember the last few years the whole camp experience was a little rough for all of us.  

 Ariel was worried too.

 But he did seem excited.

 Here is Aden getting out of the car after camp with a big smile!  That made us so happy.  I will post the video.  I didn't take any pictures Monday night, Aden just crashed.

 Tuesday morning, Ariel was determined to go too.

 But she had beach day at mommy and me.

Amy said she had fun.

 She made a boat.

 Aden was tired again but we wanted to go outside to play a little.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Day two of camp went just as well as the first day.  Aden loved playing Ga Ga, computers and rock wall climbing.  He was so proud of himself that he got to the top at rang the bell!  He came home exhausted again.  He went right to bed without any hesitation.  It's making our jobs easier!

Back to Saturday.  My parents came over for a barbecue.  

Aden was the big winner at Candyland.

Home cooked meals at the Shore are so much better than going out.  

After Ariel was asleep, Aden wanted a picture of "the three of us before Ariel!"  He loves her but we have to make sure we still give him some extra special treatment from time to time.

Keeping them entertained at 6:30 am.  

Uncle Mark is always up for wrestling.

Back to Bubbie's house to help some more.

This is a picture I forgot from Saturday.  Ariel fed me some yummy cookies.

Sunday was not as nice a beach day.  It was dark and cool.  We went to the Adam's Ave beach to be with Adam and Brianna.  Yes, they are back!

Adam and Brianna are around for three weeks!  Aden can't wait to see them again next weekend.

The second best dinner at the Shore is Manco & Manco's!  We had three pies delivered.  It's Tuesday night and I'm still eating them!

Playing In The Tent

Aden had a great first day of camp!  I will get to those pictures later.  We are so happy.  As you might recall, camp was a little rocky for him the last three years.  He came home all smiles and said "I love swim!"  Who is this child and where is my son?

Back to Saturday.

 Beautiful beach day.  Of course it takes us too long to get there.  It was around 1:30.

 Lynn, Alex and Lilly joined us.

 The girls played in the tent.  I think Ariel forgot she was sitting on sand.
