It's Friday morning and I'm so glad this week is over. What a mess. First, everything was closed Monday because of the storm. Tuesday was a two hour delay for Amy and the kids. Tuesday was also Ariel's first school fight. Apparently her teacher asked her to do something and she didn't do it. One of her classmates walked over and told her to do it. So Ariel smacked her in the face! The girl smacked back and Ariel still has the cut on her face. I don't know wether to be horrified or proud?!?
Wednesday morning we woke up to the ice storm which took away our power around 6:30 am.
I took Amy and the kids to Amy's parents where they still had power. It took a long time to get there. Downed trees everywhere.
It was a pretty treacherous drive.
Good day to stay in.
Tuesday night at Grandma's house.
Amy had a hard time keeping the kids entertained all day.
There's my girl. Melissa didn't have power either.
We had dinner at a very packed Tony's. Ariel helped clean.
Thursday morning Amy was still off but the kids had school. Lucky her.
Breezy Point was a disaster area.
Big cleanup ahead.
Thursday afternoon baby Eva was busy reading her book.
So aunt Melissa read to Ariel.
Someone is going to Disney!
These are hotel keys, park admission and spending money all on your wrist. They have our names printed on them too.
Ariel of course wanted to wear all four.
Friday morning, to school and then back to our house!
