Cousins in Ventnor

It's Sunday night.  We had a mellow weekend at the shore.  These camp pics are from a week ago Friday.  They had some kind of horse event.  

Saturday morning, I walked with the twins to Juniors to get doughnuts.  

That hits the spot.  

Eli hanging across the street from our house.  Because...

Ava from Ariel's bunk was back!  She only stayed 4 weeks.  We jumped on her and started asking questions about Ariel.  We had to be careful though, she was very unhappy she had to come home.  Amy asked if Ariel brushed her teeth and wore her retainer.  Both yes.  She said Ariel was the messiest one in the bunk!  It was crazy that this little girl knows so much more about Ariel then we do at this time!

We brought Noah to my parents and left him there.  Eli checked out my dad's and Aden's pirate ship.  

We went to Ventnor to see my cousins from LA and Princeton.  You may remember my LA cousins from out trip out there right before COVID.  

We went to their beach.  

Aden hung with Noah and Jonah.  

It was weird being on a different beach.  Of course we knew several people there!

Eli checked out the pier.

That was fun but we needed to head back.  

Dinner with my parents.  

That night Felice and Howard came over with the dog.  

We went in the tub.  

The dog chilled.  

That night Color War broke out at Camp Saginaw.  Blue Dairy Queen vs. Red McDonalds.  They got all that for dinner!  Ariel was on Blue.

The Tornado

It's Thursday night.  Here's from last Thursday and Friday.  I mentioned in the last post that there was a tornado near our house.  Well here it is!  It was an F3 so pretty powerful.  

This is the car dealership.  

Our cousin saw this again very close to where we live.  

This is what the sky looked like after.  Thankfully there were only a few minor injuries.  There are videos that have been posted on Facebook that show the tornado in action from far away and from inside the dealership.  Very scary.  

On Friday, we watched live in Instagram as the Color War broke out at Southampton Summer Day Camp which meant I had to be on the hunt for brown or gold shirts.  

We drove to the shore from camp.  Eli ate a few slices and did his famous stacking move.  

Right Eli?

We went over to Dairy Bar.  

Yum.  

Then we went to see Bill and Lori's new place.

It was very cute.  

I spent the night trying to drain the spa but I gave up.  Have a great weekend!

 

Urban Air

Last Thursday I had my annual 2 days of continuing legal education classes and for the second year in a row, they were virtual.  I think they could have been a person but oh well.  The kids were still there when the classes started at 8:15.

I let Eli watch the class and give me a summary.  

Noah wasn't that interested.  

That night, Heather and I took the boys to Urban Air in Willow Grove.  Out first time there.  

It was a cool place.  You can zip line around the ceiling.  

This ball pit was a good challenge for the boys and Heather.  

The trampolines had obstacles.  

They are like monkeys.  Like to climb.

While we were there, a huge line of thunderstorms passed by.  We could hear it but closer to our house, there was a tornado...
