Aden Loves the Beach!

Sunday we all got up early.  Aden was wide awake so we had fun playing with him.  He still loves the mat.

We just prop him up on a pillow and he watches us.

They all went for a bike ride.  We loaded up Aden in the Bugaboo and went for a walk.  He was crying a bit but as soon as the stroller started moving, he went right to sleep.  It was actually pretty hot out and we only made it about a half mile when we ran into Amy's family on their way back.  They were hungry and ready for breakfast so back we went to eat.

On the way we passed this...

and this!  Weird.  Wonder if they know each other.

Then we saw this car being towed.  We checked it earlier and it had 2 tickets on it.  Sucks for them.

We drove over to Downbeach Deli, which is the Ben and Irv's of the Shore.  Usually there is a long wait but we got right in.  We had a booth and it took some effort to wedge Aden's car seat in there.  Another place we can check off the list in Aden's world tour.

Someone has discovered his hands!

They all went to the beach and left us.  We had been debating taking Aden to the beach the last couple of weeks.  The doctor said as long as we kept him out of the sun and kept the sand off of him, it would be ok.  We decided to give it a try.  On our way...

We left the Bugaboo by the stairs.  Don't worry, we had a bike lock.

I sent Amy ahead to set up the tent and the umbrella.  The tent is funny, you take it out of the case and it pops open.  Then it was time for Aden.  I took me a while to get to our seats.  All of our beach friends were so excited to meet Aden.  I carried him and kept his hood on as we went from umbrella to umbrella meeting people.

Here he is inside the tent!  He seemed to like it, at least for a little while.

The tent worked out well.  He will get a lot of use out of it next Summer.  It's so sad we are talking about next Summer already!

Doesn't look it from this angle, but the beach was packed.  The ocean water finally got above 70, you people in Florida can stop laughing now, so a lot of people were in it.

We were checking out the girls!

We only stayed about an hour.  It was a little windy and we were worried about the sand.  We got him back and washed him up.  He seemed fine.  I guess the earlier we can expose him to things, the quicker he will become adjusted.  We packed the world again and headed home for a dinner at Adam's house. (more on that later)
