A Really Great Night

What a difference one night makes.  We spoke with Daisy the nurse during the day and she said babies this age can't handle too much stimulation.  It makes them go crazy. So last night we made it a point to keep things mellow.  We kept it dark and quiet.  We did have a nice visit from Melanie, but other than that, Aden sat in his chair and looked around. (he was too cute not to pick up a couple of times!)

We also started changing him all the time rather than when he was about to eat.  Daisy also said that even a drop could make him uncomfortable.  That seemed to help also. (Aden, not the environment)

Back in our bed, just for a moment.

There's that "stop taking pictures of me" face again!

Back in the big, giant crib again.

It's hard to see the time but believe me, it was about 3:30 am.  He was actually great.  Got up at 3, Amy fed him and he was asleep by 3:45 with no fuss.

Good morning Aden!

A little stretch.

Back to sleep.

See you after work!
