Waffles and Ice Cream

Yes, we just spent 10 straight days at the shore.  It was a nice relaxing time but we are home now and Amy starts school tomorrow!  How crazy is that?  Time to catch up!

Last Monday morning, we left the kids with both our parents while we headed home to take care of some things.
Amy's parents sent us these pictures during the day.

That night, Amy and I had a nice barbecue dinner in Doylestown.  It's been a very long time since we had a whole night together without the kids!
We splurged on some waffles and ice cream.

Tuesday we headed back to the shore.  Ariel did great with Amy's parents and Aden loved sleeping at my parents.
We didn't feel like going to the beach so we just went for a swim.

Aden can touch the bottom and have his head above water all the sudden.  I guess he's growing.
 Splash aunt Bevy!
It was also Clarisse's birthday on Tuesday.  She got to open her gifts.
That night we met Howard, Jen and the girls on the Ocean City boardwalk.  Baby Tali was too cute!
Avery and Ariel kept running off.
Howard caught Avery.  She's about 4 months younger than Ariel.
We had a nice meal at the Bashful Banana.
Jen took Tali back to sleep and the rest of us went for a walk.
Aden made it a point to see all the characters.
 Ariel on the other hand...

 Green fudge!
We ran into lots of people we knew.  Here are Lou, Jackie and Nicky.
 Big hugs for Nicky!
 Aden saw friends from camp.
 Avery started losing it!
Howard and I are friends from high school.
Well this was a bit strange.  A Mummer's string band!  They played a few songs then marched down the boardwalk.
 Ariel was less than thrilled.
 Just a few rides.
We went in the haunted house.
Aden was scared but liked it.
