That's a Long Scroll

It's Sunday night and Aden and I are just back from a really bad loss by the Eagles.  I had a feeling it was going to be a tough season.  It's really hard to repeat the magic they had last year.  Back to last weekend.

Here are their school pictures.

Ariel had a play date with her kindergarten friends.

They played outside then did crafts.

Tyler's mommy is a good cook!

Last Sunday at Hebrew School, they had a special consecration service for the first graders.

 They paraded around.

 Our proud first grader!

Then the congregation celebrated Simchat Torah.  It's when they get to the end of the torah scroll and have to rewind it back to the beginning.  The do that by unrolling the whole thing around the sanctuary.
 Eli was impressed.

The rabbi was able to point out cool things since it was all exposed.
Then they had a small carnival.

Let's hope the Eagles can pull themselves together in this short week.  They play the Giants on Thursday.
