Science Fun

Last Tuesday, Ariel was ready to escape us.  She had a friend staying is Sunny Isles near Miami.
I took her and the twins came for the ride.
Such a pretty area.  Huge condo buildings on the beach.
This is the Porsche Tower.  It has a car elevator.  You bring your car into your apartment!
There is Priscilla!
It's almost like they didn't see each other in school just a few days before.
They had a fun day on the beach.

I took the boys out to lunch.  We saw some nice cars.

We ended up at the science museum in Fort Lauderdale.
The boys had a lot of fun running from exhibit to exhibit.
Eli the pilot.
A wind tunnel!

A Magna Tiles room.
2 floors of fun!
Zap!

Then we saw an IMAX 3d movie about sharks.
Scary!
There was a cute outdoor area too.
Pulleys.
Tug of war!

That night was quiet.  Eli started drawing a Mind Flayer from Stranger Things.

Beautiful Beach Day

Last Monday, we woke to a very warm and sunny Florida.  Amy and Noah went for a walk at saw a pretty bird.
I took Ariel and Eli to the market.
Love the University of Miami stuff on the car.  That will be us one day!
The markets are fun down there.  Interesting foods.
We can just see the ocean from our place.

We walked over to the very crowded beach.  Ariel ran right for the ocean.  It was warm!

The twins weren't into it.  They just kind of hung out.
I joined Ariel in the ocean.

Noah finished another Hunger Games book.
Ariel was determined to get tan.
The air was 83 and the water 78.

Ariel went searching for shells.

Then we went to the pool.

Eli wanted to work out. Said he wants to get abs.

What a day!
We headed to Town Center Mall to shop a bit then have dinner.
Ariel found all her favorite stores.

Dinner at True Foods was not very good.
We went over the Mizner to get ice cream.

First we got candy.
The line was too long at Sloan's Ice Cream.
We didn't want to wait.

Across the way, there was an ice cream pop store.
So we got those.
A sweet first day!
