Shopping at Dennys

It's Thursday night.  This week went quickly.  Last Thursday, was New Years Day.  I drove down early to pick up Ariel at her party house.  Passed this crazy house on the way.
We got back then I went for a run.
The kids were Facetiming people at home.

Then we went to cousin Sandy's house.  Ariel was so excited to see her dogs Ollie and Benji.
They just got a new, beautiful house.

Ariel and Ollie.
Elliot took Ariel and Eli for a ride.
They went fast!
The boys were comfy and didn't want to leave.
Then we went to Amy's favorite store.  Denny's!  We were the only people there.  The kids ran around and picked out clothes.  Even the boys.

Ariel was in her glory.
She did well!
We then met cousins Debbie and Jack for dinner.
We got back then walked over to Kilwin's for ice cream.  All the ice cream places had long lines that week.
Yum!  Have a great weekend!

Happy New Year!!!

Last Wednesday, it was chilly!
I made an early morning trip to Home Depot to get some stuff to fix up the house.
When I got back, I noticed we had a visitor in the palm tree outside the balcony.
Hello Mr. Iguana!
Eli worked on his scary artwork.
We had another friend!
Amy and I went for a walk.
Nice banyan tree.
It was windy and cool but still nice.
We found a pickleball court!

Back the house, the iguana had turned around to give us his butt.
We took the boys to the Sugar Sands playground.
They love it here.  It was really crowded.

Amy made friends with an Israeli girl.

We wandered around and found there was a science museum run by the city and it was free!  We never knew it was there.
It was actually really nice.
The kids got busy.
There were rockets and trains above us.  It was so nice.
Eli was ready to go to space!
Later that night, we went to visit our friend Lisa that just moved into a new house.
It was so new there wasn't any furniture!
It was nice to catch up for a few minutes.
Meanwhile, back at home, Aden had dinner next door.
Then we went to our friend Erika and Mike's house.  They made us a beautiful dinner and we watched Miami crush Ohio State!  That was totally unexpected.
We had so much fun hanging.  We stayed till almost 11.
Happy New Year!
Go Canes!
Meanwhile, somewhere near Miami, Ariel and Priscilla were partying well into the night.

We got back and watched the countdown to midnight.
It's 2026!!!
There were fireworks all around us!
