The Flu!

Last Sunday we were back!  The twins did not have Hebrew school.  Amy hosted mah jong so Melissa came over with Gwen to play with the boys.  

The girls had an intense session!

The kid watch Stranger Things.  

They had fun.  

We had some Bluepoint cookies to share.  

Last Monday, Noah and I worked on building a clock.  

Eli was hanging with his demagorgan.

Last Tuesday, Eli was doing homework.  

I thought they didn't do handwriting anymore.  

Ariel had been really sick all week.  She tested positive for Flu B on Monday.  She was in bed all day Wednesday.  I hung with her.  She showed me her new wallpaper on her computer.

Poor girl.  She felt awful.  

 

Extra Day in Florida

Last Saturday was our extra day in Florida and it was beautiful!  I went for a run.  Pickleball courts!

I'm going to miss running outside.

Hey buddy, we are back!

We took the twins for a walk.  

There was a little library in the banyan tree.

Nice playground.

Perfect day.

We had to go back and repack and rewash the sheets and towels.  

We had lunch at JB's right near us.  

We sat outside by the beach.  

I took a walk onto the beach. 

I wanted to play some volleyball.  

The restaurant.  

Do we really have to go home?

One last look at the beach.  

We stopped for some sweets on the way back.  We closed up the house and headed out.  

Back to the airport.  The flight happened but it was delayed like an hour.  

We made it home! There was a big pile of packages.  

Of course Ariel went right for the LoveShackFancy.

 

Flight Cancelled

Last Friday was supposed to be our last day in Florida.  I went for a run. It was so nice out.  

The beach is quiet at 8 am.

A lot of people were walking.  

Look at Miami going to the next round of the playoffs!

I ran back and we packed to go home.  We cleaned out all the food and washed the sheets and towels.  

We said goodbye to our friend outside.  

Bye friend.  But not so fast!  We drove to the airport.  We turned in the rental car.  We were dragging our bags over to check them in when we got an update that the US was attacking Venezuela and our flight was cancelled!  I was able to get us on a flight in 24 hours and get the rental car back so it was not so bad.  

We went straight to Boomers  to play some mini golf.  

Then we picked up food for dinner from our favorite Greek restaurant.  An added benefit for the extra night.

We headed back to the house.  The house with no food and clean sheets and towels.  Lol.  Amy was upset I threw away all the food but I didn't know when anyone was going to be there again.  

Meanwhile, back at home, Aden had a nice dinner.  

I passed out.
