It Would Be Legendary!

Saturday morning, everyone slept in.  I went to Hot Bagels to get bagels and cream cheese.  The girls had wanted to exercise but it was already 11 by the time we finished eating so we went straight to the beach.  Again, Amy is amazing.  They wanted to go to Washington, a beach about 9 blocks away and she walked it.  Ot was far for her, but she liked that is was close to the public bathrooms.  It was a beautiful day and the beach was very crowded.

Melissa and friends.

It was really clear, unlike last week with the smoke.  You can really see Atlantic City.

Melissa and Lauren.

The girls had Dino's delivered to the beach and they didn't include us!  Amy and I walked over to the Greenhouse and had a nice healthy lunch of pepperoni pizza and steak sandwiches!  It took a while, Melissa called, "where are you?"  I wanted to go for a walk on the beach but Amy was content to sit under the umbrella.  We stayed pretty late then had that long walk back.

The girls had dinner plans at Sage.

Everyone pause for a moment and just take in Melissa's hair.  She worked so hard on it.  She has beautiful curly hair but insists on straightening it, which is a lot of work. First she blew out Stef's and Amy's hair, then went to work on her own.  It was like a twisted  beauty salon on the floor of our bedroom.  I kept trying to tell her that it wasn't worth the effort as it was humid and windy out but she persisted and as you can see it came out great.  I hate being right though.  Two minutes after this picture was taken, she walked outside and her hair immediately became a big poof ball!  Not really, it still looked great Mel, I promise.

Here are the girls at dinner.

Amy and I went over to my cousin Jen's house a few blocks away.  Her two boys were asleep.  Mike and I picked up food from Barrels.  Here is Maggie the Puggle.

Hi Maggie!  She's really funny.

After dinner, we walked over to Juniors across the street.
Everyone keeps asking what Amy is craving.  She would tell you nothing, I would tell you it's waffles and ice cream.  She talks about them all the time!  So that's what we got!  Jen, Amy and I totally pigged out.  Mike kind of watched in disgust.

Jen and Maggie.

Yes, Amy went back to the Greenhouse.  She said she had a dream that her water broke when she was there.  She said it would be so embarrassing.  I told her she's wrong, it would be legendary!  No one would ever forget about the hot pregnant girl that liked the Greenhouse so much, she had her son there!
The girls showed up.  Also Jason and Rachel were in with friends.
Amy went to Camp by the Sea in Margate when she was young.  Through Facebook she found a couple of her old bunk mates!  Her is Elissa.  She was very sweet and happy to see Amy.  The girls caught up and she even invited us to Shabbat dinner at her parent's home at the Shore!

Here's another old friend Remy.  I loved hearing the stories of Amy when she young. We stayed till like 1:30 talking with the camp girls, Mel's friends, Jason and company, and the other random people we knew.  I think Amy would have stayed longer, but I was ready for bed.
