We Made It!!!

Good Morning!!!  Nothing like waking up to a view of the warm ocean!  It's now about 9 and they are all still sleeping.  I am just sitting outside taking it all in.  So let's recap...

The flight was scheduled for 7:45.  Good thing we got to the airport early.  We had some trouble getting through security.  Amy and Melissa went first while Mark and I parked the car.  Amy had Aden in the new Sit N Stroll.  They asked Amy to break it down and carry Aden through.  She had no idea how to do that.  Eventually, they let her through.  I had the bag with the powdered baby formula.  They definitely did not like that.  First they asked where the baby was, then they used some sort of device to sniff the formula.  Interesting.  But the Sit N Stroll worked out well, so far...

Aden got to try some ice cream, then would not stop grabbing for it!

Aden was an "A" of course.

A quick snack at liftoff, which was delayed over an hour.  They had to replace a tire!  They actually brought out this giant car jack and lifted the plane and replaced the tire.  It was crazy to watch.  Even all the people working at the airport were at the window watching.  It actually looked like they were changing the tire on a giant car.  Cool, but we didn't get off till 8:45.

Southwest gave Aden a certificate marking his first flight.  Very nice.  They still give out free snacks and drinks, even nicer!

Aden slept a little but not the whole time.

He wanted to look out the window at the lights below.  Cute.

I don't know why this picture didn't come out but I'm including it to show how happy he was!  When we got there, several people commented that he was a good baby.  He didn't say a word the whole time.

We made it to Florida! (at 12, ugh)

We just kind of plopped Aden down while we got ready for bed.

He had his Miami Dolphins colors on!

Finally time to get Aden ready for bed! (around 2!)

But I think someone is too awake!

He lasted in the Pack N Play till about 7.   I fed him them plopped him in bed with Amy.
