It's Tuesday night and the kids are asleep. It's nice when it's quiet. What are you all doing tomorrow? We are going to the Breezy Point Swim Club during the day but we aren't sure where to go for fireworks. I cannot remember the last time we were not at the shore on the 4th.
Sunday was Melissa's birthday!!! We got up early and went for a walk.
Aden kept saying, "the trees are down!"

Aden wanted some water ice before the beach.
This is all the stuff we have to schlep three blocks to the beach. Aden said he could handle it.
Finally made it to the beach.

It was a beautiful beach day.
The water was warm if not a bit rough. Most of my time though is spent looking after the kids. I can't remember the last time I got to take a long walk.
Grandpop was determined to get Aden in the water.
Ariel didn't need any convincing. Next summer we will be chasing her to the water over and over again!
Cousin Elaine took Aden for a nice long walk along the water.
Aden is an expert at taking over other people's holes.
We stayed at the beach till well after 5 then headed to the dining room at the Greenhouse. It's has been years since I ate there. I'm not sure why we waited so long. I always complain about eating at the shore. Slow, rude and expensive. This was none of the above. The people were great and so was the food.
