Roller Disco

It's Sunday night and we are watching the Golden Globes.  We have not seen a single one of the movies so we are just checking out the clothes.  It was a fun weekend.  We finally got to spend time with baby Nathan.  Bev is still recovering at home.

Last Thursday Aden's school had a fundraiser at Palace Roller Skating Rink in Northeast Philly.  You may remember we were here for Jake's party in June.  This is where everyone in our area grew up skating.
Aden was not very steady on the skates but he was willing to give it a try.
 There's Jack!
It was actually a very small turnout from the school.  Maybe less that 30 people.
Aden and his friends spent most of the time hugging the wall.

We did not think Ariel would try skating.  Right away she insisted on getting skates.  The smallest they had were just a tiny bit big but they worked.  She was so excited.
I want to go on my own!
 Daddy will help.
She insisted though on trying it on her own.

 The skating crew.

 The boys were worn out.
 Let's play video games!
 Hokie Pokie!
Well that was successful!  We will need to go back.
Even Aden said he wanted to practice.
