First Day of School

Last Tuesday was the first day of school for Ariel and the twins.  First, we had to get up really early to get Ariel to the bus stop at 7:30.  She had never taken a bus to school before.  She was nervous but we got some nice smiles.

Then we had to get the twins ready.  

All the kids and lots of parents gathered together.  

The boys were quiet but they were ready to go.  

It was a bit chaotic but it's really sweet.

The principal put us to work. We carried the new tables to the new picnic area.  

Aden helped Ariel carry her bag home.  Such a sweet brother.  lol.  She was a little shell shocked about school but she was still smiling.  

Then the twins came out.  

All the parents form our street were waiting.  

The kids all seemed happy about school and started playing.  

The play continued to Vicky's house.  

Last Wednesday, Aden got a ride from the neighbor at 7.  I then walked with Ariel to the bus at 7:30.  I made both their lunches.

After school, Ariel wanted to go to Staples to get some more supplies.  

Noah had his first soccer practice.  

It went pretty well.  We know the coach.

Back to school night at the elementary school.  I went to one class.  Amy to the other.  Then we switched.  This was the first time in years we only had 2 at the school.  All the teachers seemed really good.
