You Had Me At Shalom

Wednesday morning Aden had escaped the swaddle.

Out more.  Back to hands up.

Now he's awake!

A little later we gave him belly time.  You saw the pictures before with him lifting his head and looking at himself in the mirror.  He eventually fell asleep.  We let him sleep on his belly.  We know that's against the rules these days but we were around and he seemed so comfortable.  We all slept on our bellies and we came out ok, well, maybe some of us.

Back to synagogue.  We usually don't go the second day of Rosh Hashana but they were having a special ceremony for all the newborns.  There was a big group of babies and they were very cute.  We all went up on the bima and the the three rabbis blessed everyone.  It was very sweet.

They even had presents for the babies.

Later that day, I went with my dad to the Phillies playoff game against the Brewers.  When we got there it was thundering and lightening and raining but they never stopped the game.  The rain came and went but everyone stayed at their seats.  Would have been nice if I had brought a jacket.

The sky was ominous.

Wave those rally towels.

Most of the scoring came in one inning.  The rest were mostly 1-2-3, so the game went fast.

The Phillie Phanatic attacked the Milwaukee sausage!

We had fun.  It was the first Phillies post season win since 1993!
