Disney Day 1

It's Sunday night.  It was so warm that we sat outside and made a fire and smores!  The weekend was spent recovering from our trip to Disney last week!  Surprise!  For those of you who didn't know, we went to Disney World from last Saturday to Wednesday!  We had a really great trip!  Here we go!

Last Saturday, we had a 7:30 am flight out of Trenton.  It's so nice to fly from there when it works.  It's so close to home and so small.
A quick 2 hour flight to Orlando.
We went with Todd and Ali and Steve and Michele.  The little boys all know each other well and played a lot.
We got a ride to the hotel.
Our first stay at the Grand Floridian.
We dropped off our bags and took the monorail 1 stop to the Magic Kingdom.
It was good to be back.  We went to Disneyland 2 years ago but it's been at least 6 since we were here.
A little fuzzy but cute.
It was hot!  Over 90 and humid!  When we left home, it was 25!  It felt good!
It was so crowded!
Eli is generally scared of everything.  He did go on most rides though.  The new ride reservation system is pretty intense.  You have to be staring at your phone all day to schedule rides, which is not ideal but we did get on every ride we wanted to without waiting.  The regular standby lines were up to 210 minutes!
We had a lot of fun foods.
The boys got first time at Disney World and birthday buttons.
I think this was Micky's Philharmagic.

Yup.

Jungle Cruise.

Swiss Family Robinson House.

Nice view from the top.
The Haunted Mansion.
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.  This one was very popular and you had to pay extra, like $10 a person to get in the fast lane.
Eli didn't do this, so we did a parent swap.

It was fun!
We walked back through the park and went to the hotel to check in.
Beautiful place.
One of the 3 pools.
The two rooms were very nice and with the door open in between, felt very large.

We went back into the Magic Kingdom for a very nice dinner.

Then we saw the fireworks.

We stayed after the fireworks for more rides!  Remember, we got up at 4 that day.  Pirates of the Caribbean.
No Stroller Parking!
Rapunzel's lamps.
It's a Small World!
Ariel threw coins in the water.
Here we go!

The small Jewish section.
The not so pc Chinese section.

It said our names on the way out.
Not usre how they did that.
Looking pretty at night.
We headed back around 10!
But first we picked up some sweets.  My favorite apples!

Eli ate his cupcakes before bed.
