Hanukkah Doughnuts

It's a very rainy Monday night.  We had an exciting day.  Council Rock just started doing a district wide geography bee.  Unbeknownst to us, Aden loves geography.  They tested all the 5th and 6th graders and 10 made it to the bee today and Aden won!  More on that later.

Last Sunday, I took Ariel to Hebrew School and stayed from 9-11:30 for a second grade activity.  That was a long time!  We did a bunch of different activities.

We had to be creative making Hanukkah cards.

Ariel has twin boys in her Hebrew class and regular class.  She spent most of the time running around with them.  I talked to their parents.  I asked if it got any easier?  Their boys are 8.  They said no!

 We made doughnuts too!
 Yum!
Doughnuts are a Hanukkah treat in Israel.
I took the kids to my parent's house.

Amy was at the spa for the day!
Eli has a weird fascination with Christmas trees.  Amy got him a little one.  He walks around with it!

 Arts and crafts with mommy.

That night, Lori, Ashley and Brandon came for dinner.
It was nice to catch up.

The kids went a little crazy.
